That is the best news of the day. That is great. Love those Georgia defensive lineman.

Let's hope he can get eligible. Does anyone know how close or far he is from getting his test scores?

Drummond says he does not have the core grades as yet but that the staff is hopeful because he has 8 months to finish and take the test.
I watched this guy's video. He is strong and FAST. Hits like a fast moving truck. Definitely worth taking the chance on and if he qualifies, he is a major recruit, IMO.

Landing Stafford is HUGE, mainly because he is a highly sought after recruit and he is from out of state. It's not often we land a player of his caliber from outside the state, much less right out from under the noses of UGA and Ga. Tech. This was a kid recruited by many of the major powers of the SEC and he chose UK, thats a positive step. It's also significant that he didn't wait until January/February to commit, he is on board fairly early and hopefully will help bring in some other top talent.

Ran across a nice quote by Trinity HS Coach Beatty on bluechip recruits and coaching.
During his tenure at Trinity, the school has won four state titles but only produced three Division I signees:"The one thing that is a fallacy out there is that we just get tremendous athletes. We have kids that commit and they commit to getting better. It just goes to show you that team is so much more powerful than individuals. I had four Division I kids on one team at Blue Springs and it was the worst nightmare of my career. The power of togetherness and the power of team is strong. Give me the average kid that wants to work his butt off over the talented kid who doesn't want to work and I will choose that average kid every time."
