Happy Thanksgiving to ALL of you here at WCN! Mayall of youhave a safe andhappy holiday with your loved ones. :)

Too, I feel so blessed. One of my blessings is having this WCN site where I can read about and discuss UK sports (although I must also admit here that some of the negativity during such a positive time is troublesome to me :() AND the friendship of so many of you. Another blessing is that the UK football program has fought itself out of probation and to a bowl game and a guaranteed winning season. I have been blessed with so much joy from what these players (and coaches) have accomplished and look forward to getting to go toa bowl game because of them. I feel truly blessed and happy this Thanksgiving.:)

Half of our kids (2) are here with Mrs VB and me, the other half (2) just arrived in Mississippi to have turkey with their Grandma.

The highways are crammed with travelers, and the weather here on the east coast is rainy and cold, absolutely miserable. I flipped on the radio just now and there are crashes up and down I-95 and I-64. A lot of people won't make it home for Thanksgiving Day.

I'll go to sleep tonight thankful that the ones I love are safe, and very sad for those less fortunate than I.
