Kentucky junior tight end Jacob Tamme will be featured as the SEC Community Service Team Player of the Week during Saturday's Lincoln Financial Sports telecast of the Kentucky-Tennessee game.
Tamme serves as outreach chairman for the Kentucky football team and has been active in the "Cats That Care" service program. A sampling of his many community service efforts include numerous speaking engagements at schools; speaking at football camps and team banquets; visits to the UK Children's Hospital and Veterans' Administration Hospital; delivering meals at SS. Peter and Paul Church in Danville; participating in the American Heart Walk; and serving as a mentor at Boyle County Middle School.
