As I have read here on our site Sunday, Monday, and today, I have noticed a lot of folks areable to enjoy this team's success because of their concerns about our defense (especially after Saturday's performance). :(Well, as I see it, we have STILL won at least seven games, are still getting to go to a bowl, are still having a guaranteed winning season, and are still finishing at least third place in the SEC East, regardless of how much yardage this team has given up. :)

There are so many reasons to be happy. We can choose to look at those many reasons to be happy or choose to be obsessed with the ONE negative, our defense's giving up far too much yardage and being particularly ineffective about stopping the run. It'ssimply a choice.

Some are upset that Coach Brooks said that his assistants will be returning. Actually, Coach Brooks made that statement BEFOREthedefensive performance that was so upsetting to UK fans (and to the head coach himself). It seems logical to me that we cannotthus KNOW, for certain, that CoachArcher will still be back next season. It also seems logical to me that we cannot KNOW that the team will not perform much better defensively this Saturday against UT (and this fan is certainly hoping for that to be the case).

So it's merely a choice to be happy or not, whether or not to enjoy something that has not happened in so long for UK football. Of course, everyone has the right to choose whether he or she wants to be happy about UK football at this time.FWIW, I choose to be happy and enjoy this precious moment. :)GO CATS! BEAT UT!
