I like to keep things simple especially when I am confused :) KY's problems are not x's and o's, its pure and simple (in my humble opinion) a lack of quality forwards, its been a major problem for Tubby the past 3-4 years. Even the great class of Morris, Crawford, Rondo, Bradley, did not include a long and lean forward to compliment that group.
There isno Mashburn, no Prince, no Pelphrey, no Walker, no McCarty, no Padgett, no Evans, ...we have Thomas and Perry. S'way it is until Moses, Stewart, Harris and hopefully Patterson are on the team.

SM..this is just me but I think just as important as a PF is a highly skilled, athletic SF that is long and lean and can make people defend them on the perimeter. For some reason, whether by design or not, Tubby recruited a bunch of 2G's and hoped to convert them into small forwards, or he actaully felt Bobby Perry would develop into an all SEC type player.

Don't bother. I'm watching right now and it's horror show for us Cat fans. Wright is a beast. Hansbrough as well. Both should be wearing Kentucky unis today.
UNC could possibly beat us by 30 in their barn next weekend. And I'm not exagerating. Good gravy the Heels are loaded where we are not.

After watching Zaga beat them I remain moderately hopeful but Zaga is a team with a ton of basketball savy and from what I saw, better athletes than KY

I thought we had a good chance of signing Wright. This team would have been much better if we had. However, this article says we were not even 3rd on his list since Duke and Vandy were his next choices. Has me a bit confused.
