Is it just me, or does Crawford look like he just made bubbles in the bathtub?

The only thing I have a problem with in the article is that he downplays that we won 7 games this year by saying fans aren't excited about it. We are excited. We are elated to be thinking about a bowl game over Christmas. His comments about Lorenzen, Abney, and Co. are absolutely correct. I don't know why he took at shot at our program at this point, but he did make a couple of good points. He also is wrong about a thing or two.

That's what had bothered me, MSU Cat. Crawford "took a shot at our program" at a time when that should not be happening. It was Coach Brooks who had been wrong in making the mistake about the seven games and also not so good at getting his point across (which had seemed to lessen the accomplishments of a couple of players he had actually loved). Yet, that Crawford wrote so negatively about UK football AT THIS TIME was troubling to me and much more like something Bozich would do.

In contrast, we have not heard a single word from either Bozich or Crawford about how Coach Petrino treated Rockcastle lineman Brad Durham, in withdrawing his scholarship offer Durham (a classy young man, by the way)had accepted early in the year. Durham's coach's comments about the lack of class shown by Louisville and the lack of belief recruits can have in what they have been told, COULD have been a column for either CJ columnist. While I had understood their not addressing that issue in a very positive time for Louisville football, I certainly see a HUGE DIFFERENCE in now addressing Brooks' quote and being so negative at such a positive time for UK football. For that reason, again, :thumbdown:thumbdownto Eric Crawford for this column.

Too, yes, Eric Crawford, we fans are MOST EXCITED about the seven wins and our bowl appearance. MSU Cat is so right about that. GO CATS!

"Last season Juan Palacios was said to be out until January. He started the opener. Ditto for David Padgett this season. Now Andre McGee has undergone surgery for torn cartilage in his right knee. I think I saw him running hurdles at Cardinal Park last night."

This paragraph made me laugh.
