Texas was on offense
they were behind
A Texas player was injured with 20 seconds to go in the game
Texas has no time outs left
Is it in pro ball that runs off 30 seconds when this situation happens?
Does this situation not apply to college football?

I don't know what applies in the NFL, but the college rules don't call for any time to be run off the clock due to an injury.

wasn't it an incomplete pass anyways? I thought NFL rule only applied if the clock were to continue running.
Either way, great game. (me being an Aggie)

Here's the scoop from my SEC contact.
The situation you described doesn't happen in college. Regardless of the type play, when an injured player goes down the clock stops until the player is off the field. If it was an incomplete pass, the clock starts on the snap. but for a running play, the clock starts as soon as the player is safely off the field.
He wasn't sure about the pro rule.
