In the 2004 class, he was a Rivals 3 star lineman for South Carolina. He got 2 stars and was the 109 lineman in the class by Scout in 2004.

According to Scout, he had offers from Ark, Memphis, and Nebraska in 2004.

Good news. Too, while Caveman Catfan is so right that talk is cheap, I still suspect former Cat Marty Moore is liking Winchell's words. I remember how disappointedMoore was in our offensive line's lack of aggression against Louisville, something about their being "too nice" on the field. :D
