having beers with friends, a damn UL fan stated that UL "owned us" in football. do UL fans really feel that way? curious to know.

Own, may be a strong word (although recently I guess you could say that). But, I would say that I expect to win this game on a yearly basis.

we havehad the upper hand, but anything can happenin a rivalry game. Some of the games we won could have goneeither way. But if your drinking beer and I'm drinking beer and you ask me ,,,,,,, WE OWN YOU!!!!!

Uk football is in an abysmal state. "Owned" isn't an appropriate term any more. "Feel sorry for" is beoming much more appropriate in my book. I want quality local football and basketball. I loved the 70's and 80"s when UL,UK, and IU were in a dog fight to see who was the best basketball team. Basketball is at that point ( with the exception of IU ) again. I wish football could get there, but UK needs some major overhauling to get it done.
