Just to brag a little, but below is a listing of the UK game programs I own.

(note it may take a while to load for those who have slow connections)

I know there are a number of UK collectors who actively collect programs. Also, I'm sure there are a lot of people who are season ticket holders who probably accumulate a lot of progams without really even purposely trying.

FWIW, my favorite program is probably the 1948 Michigan State game, where former UK All-American Bob Brannum starred for the Spartans and nearly beat the Fabulous Five.

I'm curious what other's favorite programs are ? Also who has the biggest collection ? I know one or two people who have a program from virtually every season that programs were available.

What's really interesting about the programs is they get worse as the years go by. The ones they've made for the past 20 years pale in comparison to the ones they were making in the '40s and '50s.

My favorite one is probably UK/Iowa in '72. Psychedelic! :ggrin:

I have more than a few University Of Kentucky basketball and football progams in my collection. The pride of my collection has to be the 3 programs of the 3 games played in the 1946 NIT, which Kentucky won it first National Tournament Title. The games were played atold Madison Square Gardens in New York City.

Anotherone that I am proud of having isa football program fromthe Bear Bryant era. The program is from the 1947 GreatLakes Bowl gameplayed at the old Browns home fieldMunicipal Stadiumin Cleveland Ohio. This was the first bowl game for UofK which they defeated Villanova 24 to 14. I bet there are not to many of this program are around. Ihave been told that the attendence for the games was not very good.

If I could figure out how to post photos on this site I would show a few my programs.

You have to have the picture uploaded to site, such as photobucket. Then, all you have to do is copy and paste the url to the to box that will open when you push the image box button. This button is at the top of the "reply screen" and has what looks like 3 balls and a white background.

Looking forward to seeing these :thumbup.

Those Madison Square Garden programs are very nice from that era, not that I have any. :?

FWIW, those programs typically go anywhere from $50-$100 or more on ebay for each.
