SI ranks the Music City Bowl with UK and Clemson as the 17th best bowl matchup out of the 32 bowls played. Said they would have ranked it higher but Clemson might not live up to it's end of the bargain.

Not that it really makes much difference in the standings but WI and Louisville are both getting screwed a little here.

Three teams with 2 or more losses ahead of them. This was clearly petting the SEC to put a 3 loss team in there and who else got petted? Notre Dame, surprise!!!! It isn't really about any kind of championship line up, and all about what will be good for money and TV. I also think an undefeated team down the line out to have a shot at a top 4 birth, even if it is Boise State, no one has proved they can beat them. Of course I would have to apologize, I know that would throw a real monkey wrench in the money machine, but I guarantee viewers would be dropping by to see how the game was going, and stacking up if it looks close. Good plot line there, and interesting viewing if you don't care who wins anything besides KY.

I would much rather watch two 10-1 teams go at it from conferences that are seldom matched. They both lost 1 game, WI early to Michigan by 7 and Louisville late. I don't think the SEC was up to snuff on the top end this season. The south end of the SEC has a nice weather advantage when prepping and then playing in the bowl games.
