I have got to ask. The suspense is killing me. Why are you posting this tid bit about Clemson? What is the purpose?

It is relevent in regards to the post in the UK Football section referencing possible changes to Commonwealth, did you check out how recruits are brought in on game days?

Excellent presentation. I always like to know what the opposition is doing and I consider Clemson "opposition" since we recruit so heavily in South Carolina. We can look at other programs, get some ideas and improve on them. That is the way to build your program.

Billy D is doing it in Gainesville on the basketball side. He knows what made UK successful and he using that as a blue print to form Gator Basketball. We could do the same in football.

I agree that Clemson is building a very glitzy package in the stadium, a small portion of the fans have a social club to mix around in before and during the games, the museum is a nice touch to shouw the history of the program, and they are givning the recruits a different kind of setting for games.

But, how big is this stadium? It looks like, to me, that they could have had a lot more fannies if they had left out that social club.

I always thought that expansion of the UK stadium was not thought out properly. I would have preferred bowling in the end zones all the way to the top and partially razing one side of the stadium at a time to put the luxury boxes on the sidelines, instead of the end zones. It more than likely, wasn't cost effective.

86,000 - which they don't sell out, season average this year was 78,232

It looks like a great addition. We will soon have our recruiting facility in place, next year I hope.

Someday it would be great to build a totally new West End to Commonwealth Stadium. Brick, Stone, Glass with that look that says Great Stadium all over it. It could be a grand entrance for a pretty decent stadium already in place.
