I'm aware of LSU's # 3 ranking and all that, and I took a look at their roster and our women seem to match up pretty well with them on paper (which I know can be deceiving). Up to now, it appears they have one person who is doing the lion's share of the scoring for them. It would be a huge mountain to climb, but I'm not ready to say that an upset is entirely out of the question.
Anyone seen the Lady Tigers play this season and can give an overview?

I think I saw them play somewhat against somebody like their first game on tv the first game of the season. Not sure. But the good news is that they will be playing Thursday night against a tough Ohio State game on ESPN2 at 7 or 7:30 pm. So, you can get your chance to see them tomorrow.

They killed OSU by close to 20. Going to be a tough row to hoe on Sunday but I'll be pulling for our felines. We certainly will find what our weaknesses are.

I watched the OSU/LSU game off and on last night. My thoughts are either LSU is really that good, or OSU is a touch overrated, maybe a little of both. LSU took Ohio out of the game early, applied strong defensive pressure and never let their players really get into the game. Meanwhile, no one on the floor could stop Augustus and Fowles ain't no slouch.

I think this can be consider a measure stick game for the Lady Cats to see how far they have not only come but where to go as well. Augustus and Fowles is going to be a handful for the Lady Cats.

I'll be there on Sunday cheering them on.

Hey Ed
I was thinking about going. I'll mention to Mark I might be going up and see what kind of attitude he gets. Hope your holiday season is going well.

I decided not to go. I was in Lex yesterday :D, will be in Freedom Hall on Friday, back to Lex on the 28th for the UL/UK gals game, Cincy on the 30th and then there is another home game 1/3. A little much for such a busy time of year. I will either watch or tape the game so I can watch it. Have fun and I'll be looking for a report on the atmosphere. I haven't been in Memorial in years.
