Clemson tight end Thomas Hunter broke his foot in practice yesterday and will not play in the Music City Bowl against the University of Kentucky, the school said.
Hunter, a 6-foot-4 senior, will graduate from Clemson on Dec. 21 and has played his last game as a Tiger.
It's the third broken foot for Clemson this year. Michael Hamlin broke his at Boston College, and Chansi Stuckey broke his in practice in October.
"This is very disappointing because Thomas was a big part of our offense," Clemson coach Tommy Bowden said. "He has had a very productive year and a very productive career. He has been an outstanding representative of our football program."
