LOUISVILLE - The way Ramel Bradley figured, it was almost a given that Kentucky was going to beat Louisville.
"Kentucky is a Bluegrass state and we are the Big Blue. It is a game we should win, and we did," Bradley said.
Kentucky did beat Louisville 61-49 Saturday for its third straight win over the Cardinals. However, there was nothing ordinary about the way the Wildcats achieved this victory.
"It was not a very pretty game, but it was a good win for us," Kentucky coach Tubby Smith admitted.
Right and right. There was little about this game that would need to be archived to show future basketball fans. However, it was a win the Wildcats wanted to prove that they could not only win on the road, but that they also still have a chance to develop into a good team.
