Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga said coach Nick Saban has deferred his decision on whether to become Alabama's next head football coach until 10 a.m. EST on Wednesday.
Huizenga and Saban met for 10 minutes this afternoon. Saban then left the Dolphins' complex without talking to the media.
“The meeting went good,” Huizenga said in an Associated Press story. “We had a quick meeting. We had a nice conversation. Coach asked if we could defer the decision until 10 o’clock tomorrow morning. And then he went into several reasons as to why he wanted to do that. I agree 100 percent with his reasons. I understand more now what he’s thinking about.”
Cornerback Will Allen told the Sun-Sentinel that he believes Saban will likely leave.
"If he wasn't, it would probably be over already," Allen said.
