Just before halftime at last nights basketball game against Houston, the cameras fixed in on an unsuspecting Rich Brooks.
He was minding his own and the cheers just kept getting louder and louder as more people realized he was on the screen.
The place was rocking and finally someone poked him and he figured out why everyone was so excited. Those cheers were for the ol' ball coach and the look on his face was priceless. I am so glad to have such a class act for a coach.

I was sitting about 6 rows behind him and didn't realize it until well after half time. Somebody was having him sign a "3" card sign.

That's awesome. RB has earned it.
Rupp was deafening when they showed Brooks. It was really awesome.
I was wrong about him and I'm not ashamed to say it either.

I heard an ear piercing scream in my left ear that let me know somebody was on the screen. My daughter has gone football crazy. That women's clinic has changed her world. It was so cute that Coach Brooks didn't have a clue the cheers were for him.

I'm glad Kendy Kat has joined us "football crazies." :ggrin:Too, I would have loved to have seen Coach Brooks' expression, besides being able to add to the cheers. :)
