Maybe Mickey DeMoss can convice Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood to come to UK?
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Super Six is down to five.
Sophomore Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood, part of Tennessee's top-ranked, six-player recruiting class two years ago, has decided to leave, Lady Vols coach Pat Summitt announced Monday.
It was not immediately clear whether Wiley-Gatewood would transfer to another school.
"Sa'de didn't feel like she could play her game here," said Summitt, whose 2007-08 group, dubbed the Super Six, was touted as perhaps the best recruiting class in women's college basketball history. "We hate to see her leave the Lady Vol family, program and university. I hope she can find great success with her basketball career, academics and life."
Wiley-Gatewood, a 5-foot-9 point guard from California who was also part of Tennessee's class that includes Candace Parker, started eight of nine games this season. She averaged 8.0 points, which ranked fourth on the team, as well as 2.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 26.3 minutes per game.
