I don't venture over to the football forums a lot, but I've been a fan of Kentucky football ever since I became a pigskin fan about eight or nine years ago, and that love continues to grow as my knowledge of the game increases every season.

That being said, ever since Rich Brooks has been around, I've wanted him gone. I was pretty quiet about it at first because I'm just not one to call for a coaches job. I never really have been. But after last season, I was sure that Coach Brooks would be gone and I wanted him gone. I expected a bottomless season.

I am definitely not ashamed to say that I was wrong about him. He really showed this season that he knows how to get a team prepared, knows how to get quality players, and knows how to win ball games.

I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the future for the Wildcats, and I'm glad that Brooks is our head coach.
