Just read about it on ESPN. Looks serious. UoL fans may find out quickly the Honest Bob we've come to know and love these past few years

According to 32 News, an announcement might come on Monday.

I agree. This might be the end of the Petrino era at U of L. This is the league office reporting, not just some off-the-wall reporter trying to get a scoop.

But no Guys... he is staying..He said he was happy at UL...

Good, now I can hate him in Atlanta, too. Being a Panther fan (and unfortunately a Giant fan) will make it a smooth hate transition for me. Vick, in the league forsix years now and he's on his third coach...hmmmmm.

Petrino might be more like Pitino than we think and be back in the college ranks before we know it.

Well why am I not suprised................LYING agian................Did he not say he was happy at UL and would not leave.............good riddence.............you can't get the hell out of Louisville fast enough for me

Could this be why he only has 11 or 12 recruits for next year? Has Arthur Blank been whispering to him about Jim Mora's demise?

Guys nobody loves Louisville or Kentucky enuff to turn down that kind of money. Thanks BP for a great run. No worries TJ will just make another great hire, maybe evenBP's little brother.

I posted this article on another thread. Reading this makes you thank God that we have an honest and loyal coach on our side. We love you Coach Brooks!!

Everybody loves a winner cept when it'syour biggest rival's head coach(and don't say we're not, there are over 3000 people on cats pause right now) Guys we'll be fine...TJ is the man. If he were leaving I would say throw the dirt on top.

You sure seem to spend an awful lot of time on YOUR biggest rivals' websites. Is the hamster that runs LSR sick tonight or did he go with Petrino as part of the package?

Now I am seeing reports here in Atlanta.

Now if we can trade Vick away and get a pocket passer.

Coach leaving the QB will be next and then Micheal Bush will follow looks like the Ville going to have to call Rick and see if he wants to coach football and b-ball. Ya better lay off our Coach Rich Brooks he dont want to coach there

Never say never. :lol::thumbup

"I can't tell you how happy I am with the commitment and the confidence that Tom Jurich has in me and the university has in me," Petrino said after signing the contract. "I also wanted to make sure that everyone understood, I know I've said it, that this is where my family wants to be. This is where I want to be. I want everyone to really believe it."

I am way over the Vick hire, and wish we could unload him. I would trade for Eli Manning in a heartbeat. Give Petrino a decent pocket passer, and the Falcons will be back on top.

Better receivers would help, but Vick is the main problem.

I'm a Giant fan and you can have Eli. He absolutely has digressed this year.

Throw in Douglas, Uritia and Bush and I'd be laughing just like that little yellow guy in your post.

MtCat, What do you think, did Pitrino stop in Catlanta on his way back to Derby City from Miami? BTW: I have zero interest in the Falcons so this does not change a thing for me, but what do you think the reaction will be in Atlanta?

I'm guessing he stopped on the way THERE - not on the way back.
