I didn't know where to post this. I know that you visit the history forum.

I was at the IMDb movie/message board site, and I wanted to say thank you foryour posts there. Iregistered there. I haven't seen the movie, but I can tell that some of the things that are being mentioned are not true.

Thank you for standing up for UK and the fans in a classy manner. I cannot believe that there arepeople who are claiming to be UK fans and posting some of the things that they are.

It's not an easy thing to do, but the more I have read about Rupp and this situation, the more I believe that it is important to try to set the record straight.

That doesn't mean people will not be critical of Rupp, but at least they'll be critical of things he actually did, rather than things they've been led to believe he did by people who don't care much for the truth.

With the recent WKYT documentary, this has been a hot topic and one that will only get worse when Glory Road is released in a couple of weeks. IMO, the best thing UK fans can do (regardless of how you feel about Rupp) is to at least learn about the issue, so you'll be better prepared to sift through what is factual and what is not.
