We defended the three better. Georgia, the best three-point shooting team in the SEC, was 5-22 last night.
 That's something, isn't it?

Georgia just inverted it: they used the dribble drive to set up Takais Brown underneath.
Vandy used the dribble drive to kick out for threes.
So it's dribble penetration, not the three point shot, that kills us.
I'm shocked and disappointed in Ramel Bradley. He is as much of a culprit as anyone, because Sundiata Gaines wore him out last night. That's where the game was won.
(In all fairness, Gaines, to me, looks like a future pro.)

1) UGA missed some WIDE OPEN shots... and we got lucky because they were the 2nd best 3 point shooting team in the league.
2) It really sucks because we let a team who couldn't hit anything from 3 and didn't (before last night) have a good inside game work us over in the 2nd half like we were a junior pro team.

Bingo Will, nail on head. I have not seen a guard get used like that since Jim Master got rode hard and put up wet by the Hoyas. Gaines smoothed by Bradley the whole second half. He needs to change his nickname to glue or glove or something and play like it.

I remember a few wide-open shots, but not as many as games past.
I agree completely with your second point. I was just trying to find something, anything, to be even just a little bit pleased about last night. I felt pretty good for about four minutes, then I read Will Lavender's post. He's responsible for ruining my day. (Just messin', Will Lavender. I trust you know that.)
