Since ive not seen one positive post since the loss last night im gonna play the role as king sunshine pumper again. This season is still not over and the ship has still not sunk. There is still time to turn this thing around. We saw the potential this team has in the first half last night. Ive just gotta feeling that the players are gonna realize these past 2 losses are unacceptable. I believe they are gonna get tough, focused, and play their hearts out these last 10 games. Tubby is still our coach as of right now and we still have to trust that he can get us turned in the right direction starting sunday. We seen the same type of thing happen with the 02-03 team and look what happened after halftime of the Vandy game. I think we can get seriously hot and get ona run and go 8-2 these last 10 games. Cmon guys, whada ya say. Even if you dont support Tubby, at least support this team with all thats in you.
Gooooooooo cats.

I'll always support the cats, as Im sure, anyone who frequents this board will for reasons Ive talked about before.
I love the Univ of Kentucky Basketball program, have since I was 6. I have my 3 year old watching "Tucky Wildcats" with me every game and he's becoming the same. My wife is a native Georgia who Ive converted to Blue. I Wont stop loving the TEAM no matter who the coach is. Yet, that said, the PROGRAM has been headed in the wrong direction for longer than the last 2 years. I will come out and say I am fed up with Tuuby Smith being at the helm of this program and am past ready for him to move on. Do I support the team, absolutely. Will I continue to watch, absolutely. But sometimes I find myself with the "Wake me up when Tubby reaches the final four" mentality.

Ha. If we win the NC, there will be some rich people on this website, b/c I guarantee we will be 900-1 odds to win it all. And everyone on here is still a big enough fan to put down $5 on us in Vegas.

If we win it all, I'll buy everybody on this board a steak at the Outback on Nicholasville Road.

I'm about 99.9% sure we will be in the tourney, just look at last year and we wasnt even on the bubble then.

I'm going to try and help the optimism as well.
We're not the only Top 25 team Vandy has beat. They went down to the Bayou and beat LSU by 11 after they beat us. They beat UT at home. And I think there are 2 other Top 25 teams they've beat. It's not like the Vandy team of yesteryear that beat us. They're better than they're given credit for.
Remember, Georgia led #10 Alabama AT ALABAMA for most of that game. They're not a bad team, either. Granted, I don't know how in the world we let a 17-point lead get blown like that, but Georgia didn't roll over and play dead when some teams would have.
Indiana, whom we DID beat, was #23 in one poll last Saturday, I think.
So I'm hesitant to be gloom and doom. I hope these two losses are wake-up call and that the Cats are able to turn it around. They're going to have some really difficult games coming up, and they'll have to bring their A-game to have a shot. But I think they can do it. Tennessee this weekend would be a good start.
Go Cats!

I ask this question on another board, but I'll ask it here too. Who could the Cats beat if they played 40 minutes with the effort and efficiency they demonstrated in the first 20 at Georgia? The answer to that question should give you some reason for optimism.

seriously if we play that way im not sure if we lose a game from here on out. Florida would be the one team that could sneak a win on us but other than that, noone.
If we started the season this way our record to this point would be what? maybe two losses.

I'm usually not one to say something like this, but I think that had more to do with Georgia than it did with our own team.
Their crowd wasn't in it. Their team didn't appear to be in it.
And then, in the second half, they were.
I'm not saying that I think Georgia is a lot better than us. They aren't. Two pretty even teams. But it took them awhile to get in gear, and when they did, they hit us in the mouth with their toughness and scrap.
Our guys? We don't like to scrap, it appears.
