ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Kentucky basketball team is struggling in second halves.
But it's a final third that ultimately will tell the tale of the 2006-07 Wildcats
Suddenly sputtering UK -- which has lost two straight games, including Wednesday's 78-69 loss in overtime here to Georgia -- has been heading downhill since Vanderbilt snapped its 11-game winning streak Saturday.
Now the Cats (15-5, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) face an uphill climb.
UK is No. 7 in the Ratings Percentage Index -- a system that's part of the formula for selecting and seeding the NCAA Tournament -- according to www.realtimerpi.com (http://www.realtimerpi.com/).
