It's hard to have a must-win game in January, but Kentucky has one Sunday against Tennessee.

Any margin for error the Wildcats might have had during their difficult last four weeks of the season evaporated when they lost at home to Vanderbilt and then squandered a 17-point lead at Georgia and lost Wednesday.

A season that looked so promising when UK had won 11 straight games and was 15-3 doesn't look nearly as good now with two games still left with defending national champion Florida along with Southeastern Conference road games at Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama and Vanderbilt.

If the Cats lose twice to Florida, win their other home games and lose those four road contests, they'll go into the SEC Tournament with a 19-11 record and likely have a second straight 13-loss season.

"There is lot of balance in the league other than Florida," Smith said. "I would suggest everyone in the league has improved. Therefore, that makes it more difficult for everybody.

Not true. Everyone in the league has improved except UK. UK has regressed. We are noat a better team than even three years ago. But especially not from when Tubby first arrived.

Not a good combination.

Thanks, Tubby
