Former Louisville place kicker Mark Bradford didn't make it to the pro's although his former coach Bob Petrino promised he would. But Bradford did make the most of that great University of Louisville education. He earned his degree in culinary arts and now he is knocking down 4 figures. "I couldn't qualify for Sullivan University's Cullinary Arts program" said Bradford, "but with a 14 ACT score out of high school my options were limited. Bradford noted that although the drive-thru can get hectic at times it was nothing like playing before 24,000 fans on a Tuesday night on ESPN 8 - The Ocho. It prepared for a future of complex orders that require him to "hold the pickles, hold the lettuce."

The new UofL training facility was built with this reality in mind. Although Bob Petrino promises all of his recruits a starting QB position and a future in the pros, the reality is that most players will not see a single Sunday in the NFL. So the new training facility has installed drive-thru window that the student athletes can use to prepare for their future as UofL grads.

But The good "doctor" said that "the reality is that most players will not see a single Sunday in the NFL.", but the facts are that The University of Louisvillefootball team placed a school record six players in the NFL College Draft last April. The Cardinals were only one of seven schools in the country to have six players drafted in the seven rounds of the draft. The six Cardinals drafted were most in school history. U of L had four players drafted four other times.

As a UK fan we also understand simple math. Here is a word problem that will either prove or disprove my statement that "most players will not see a single Sunday in the NFL."

Take X where X is the total number of players on the roster.
From your example above UofL had 6 players drafted.... not even signed.

Now take those 6-players and divide by X the total players on the roster. This gives you the percentage of UofLs team who were DRAFTED. If your answer is greater than .50 or 50% then I am wrong. I don't know the exact number on UofL's roster but if they have more than 12 players on the team I am correct and MOST (the majority) win not see a single minute in the NFL.

As a supporter of a tier 4 commuter college this math problem may be too difficult. Lets just agree that there are several times 12 on the roster and therefore I am totally correct.

Using your math, what % of UK players will we be watching in the NFL this season? You'd better be working on your own training facility. I hope that your coach has some type of backup career plan.

In other words you are wrong. You're not nearly as clever as your Kentucky brothers let on. You made the comment that "the reality is that most players will not see a single Sunday in the NFL." Can you name a single team in the history of Mankind that has sent the Majority of their players to the NFL? Of course not. In your little work of fiction, you stated," Bob Petrino promises all of his recruits a starting QB position and a future in the pros". You know better than that. Care to back that up with a link? I didn't think so.
