stood up and cheered for the old guy.



The Galt House East ballroom wasn't crackling with energy yesterday. When Brooks was introduced to speak, this is how many people stood up to applaud: Two.

Also after talking to someone that actually went, I heard that the only thing served was cold cuts and a brownie.

Funny. I seem to remember the story ESPN ran about Petrino's meet-and-greet before the bowl game last year. Seems (remember?...you remember!) that a host of fans actually booed whil Petrino was speaking; a few folks just walked away when Petrino tried to shake their hands. Ouch. Now that's loyalty!

Why not respond to the actual post? Because you know, as well as I do, that having two people stand up and cheer for Brooks is pathetic.

CSC my friend lets drive over and watch raftingdodo and the other red tinteddodobirds have parking practice tonight. It should be a real hoot. You and me can stand up and applaud the parking attendant. I hear all the local stations are covering it.
