Good weekend!

I post this with a partial "tongue in cheek" but I regret to admit it is more true that it should be.

I had a good weekend. My son's high school team won a good game against a top-10 team and the Cats' came back from 14 down on the road to beat a good Arkansas team.

On top of that, the following got beat:

1) Louisville

2) Indiana

3) North Carolina

4) Duke

5) Tennessee


That is pretty close to my definition of a perfect basketball weekend!:D

The Dook loss in Cameron on the night they retired JJ Redick's jersey was particularly enjoyable for me (I work with a number of Dook alums).Tears all around, I'm sure. :ggrin:

UK looks to be gathering momentum at the right time.Now, if wecouldimplant a cattle prod inRandolph Morris' shorts, March mightturn out to be loads fun! :ggrin:

I am a huge Colts fan as well. Them winning the Super Bowl topped it all off. It would have been better if Tennessee beat Florida though but you can't ask for everything now.

Colts won the super bowl and UK won an exciting game.

Duke, North Carolina, Loserville, and Cincy all lost. Great weekend in sports for me any way.

Pitino just said on the news the reason why they lost. The Big East teams play really physical because of the environment and wherethe players come from. They beat on each other every week; that is just the nature of the Big EAST. There is only one exception and that is WVU. Hmmmm! But he said they played with finesse and that as he said is a complement.
