Kentucky playing on Thursday could happen for a 2nd year in a row. What a pathetic Joke.

Actually, that would not be bad for UK. We could beat Auburn and MSU.

Did I just say playing on Thursday would not be bad?

Somebody shoot me.

I like the SEC Tourney draw. If we lose to Vandy again next week-the Cats would have a chance at them fora third time. UK can not lose to Vandy 5 times in a row. Of course I never thought we could lose to them three times in a row.

Kentucky should never play on Thursday in the SEC tourney. Yet we will do it two years in a row barring a major collapse by Vanderbilt. When does this nightmare end?

This will change a lot as the last few games of the season will have a huge bearing on the brackets.

Right now, there were two tie-breakers used. Georgia beat out UK for the 3rd place in the East by virtue of their win over the Cats. MSU beat out Bama for 1st in the West by virtue of their win over Bama and they beat out Mississippi by their West Division record. Then Mississippi beat out Bama for second place by virtue of their win over Bama. Bama plays both Mississippi and MSU over the next two weeks.

I've revised the current bracket above as I misread a tie-breaker when applying it to the 3 way tie at the top of the West Division.

Oops, sorry.

I thought we had it made by facing South Carolina in the Semi's last years and "bam"!!!

playing on thursday is bad, 1 more chance to lose. with this team, no victory is certain.

Do you think you could update this after tonight's games?

Thanks

Is it ok to wait to get outraged and disappointed over the brackets until the season is decided?;)

Sure, that's ok. But, it really wouldn't be any fun, would it?

The thing I'm outraged and disappointed about is the fact that all we had to do is take care on business in JUST ONE of several SEC games earlier in the season. If that had happened, we wouldn't be sitting here waiting on the dominos of ifs to start falling our direction.

Just to get a 2-seed, mind you. :X

Good one.

I put "kinda" on another thread because even if we beat Vandy and get a one-game lead, we still have to venture to Florida and their division record would be better by a single game. We could win, only to both end up 10-6 and lose out on division record and be the dreaded 3 seed.

...unless South Carolina can beat Vandy!

Seriously, I think our best hope is to beat Vandy and then have Arkansas do the same in the regular season finale in Nashville. Then, we can weather our loss to Florida.

Or...just beat Florida. :thumbup:cool:
