Kentucky vs. Alabama Post-Game Notes


Kentucky is 18-8 on the season and 7-5 in the Southeastern Conference.
Kentucky leads the series 95-35 and is 27-21 all-time in Tuscaloosa. UK is 16-15 against Alabama in Coleman Coliseum.
Kentucky owns an 80-20 record against SEC West teams and has won 33 of its last 36 contests against teams from the West.
Bobby Perry’s string of 30-consecutive starts was snapped.
Kentucky used the starting lineup of Ramel Bradley, Joe Crawford, Derrick Jasper, Sheray Thomas and Randolph Morris for the first time this season.
Kentucky has hit a three-point shot in 636 consecutive games, the third longest streak in the nation.
The Wildcats trailed at the half for the third straight game. UK is 2-6 in games this season when trailing at the half. The Cats are 2-3 in league games when they’re behind at halftime.
Kentucky’s 22 first half points tied for the fewest points scored by the Wildcats in a half this season. UK tallied 22 second half points at Georgia on Jan. 24, 2007. The last time Kentucky scored fewer than 22 points in a half was a 20-point effort against Vanderbilt on Jan. 10, 2006.
Derrick Jasper connected on his first three-pointer since Jan. 3, 2006 against Houston.
Randolph Morris scored in double-digits for the 24th time in 26 games while Ramel Bradley recorded his 21st double-figure effort and Joe Crawford his 21st.
Tubby Smith is 3-1 against coaches whom he traveled to Kuwait with in Operation Hardwood II last summer. He has defeated Kelvin Sampson at Indiana (59-54) and swept Dave Odom at South Carolina (87-49 and 95-89).
In Randolph Morris’ 1,000 point watch, the 6-11 junior has now scored 982 points, 18 shy of the 1,000 point plateau.
Kentucky’s next game is Tuesday, February 20 against LSU in Rupp Arena. The game will be televised on ESPN with a 9:00 p.m. ET tip time.
