Even though my support for Tubby is wavering teams still give a supreme effort against the Cats. Tennessee losing and Florida struggling against Alabama and losing to Vandy show that. Over time teams still have a very difficult time with their next game or two after playing UK. Our stuggles these last couple of games could also be a hangover from the Florida contest.

Florida's bid at an undefeated SEC season is over. . . That has to be worth a little cheer. Right?

Vandy's student section rushed the court today. That check will bein the mail to the SEC office and I am sure that Vandy's President (since they don't have an AD) will say that it was money well spent.

Who would win the tie breaker for SEC seeding if UT and UK are tied?

What's sad:blush: is that Vandy will probably not charge the court if they beat UK next week. Vandy will probably be favored by 3 to 4 points and are going for four in a row.

Very true. If we were to beat Vandy, it'd be an upset.

Give me a  too.

Byars and Foster will be the two best players on the court and it won't even be close.

From the SEC website:

Tie Breaker Procedures
For a two-team tie: 1. head-to-head; 2. division record (10 games); 3. record vs. No. 1 team in division proceeding through the No. 6 team if necessary; 4. non-division record (6 games); 5. record vs. No. 1 team in the opposite division proceeding through the No. 6 team if necessary; 6. coin flip by the Commissioner.

For a three-team tie: 1. Total won-lost record of games played among the tied teams (Example: Team A is 3-1, Team B is 2-2 and Team C is 1-3 - - Team A would be seeded highest, Team B second-highest and Team C lowest of the three); 2. division record (10 games); 3. record vs. No. 1 team in division proceeding through the No. 6 team if necessary; 4. non-division record (6 games); 5. record vs. No. 1 team in the opposite division proceeding through the No. 6 team if necessary; 6. coin flip by the Commissioner.

Once a three-team tie has been reduced to two teams, the two-team tiebreakers go in effect.

If UK and Tennessee are tied, UK better beat Vandy since Tennessee already split with them. If UK loses-UK may be looking at a 4 or 5 seed in the tourney. Vandy looks like the front runner for second barring a total collapse.

If Byars and Foster played for Duke, they would be POY candidates and All-Americans.
