Coury was given a scholly for this year, or we lose it. Harris was given one this year, mainly because we couldn't get anyone (check Tryone Nash). Last year's newcomers were mainly wastes (Sims, A.Williams, Carter) that's an entire class. Stockton, Carrier- I could go on.

Has any other UK coach ever had so many kids not see their senior seasons and wasted so many schollys on so many that didn't deserve to play here?

I believe Coury has earned an acadmic scholarship, IMO its shouldn't be all about basketball.

the scholarship has little to do with basketball. Its paying for their education... a "wasted" scholarship would be one that a student used and didnt earn a degree. remember... for most of these kids the future does not lie in basketball.

I beg to differ. Shagari Allyene did not use his scholly to excell in basketball or school, so it was wasted. If the kid graduates from school and is not a very good basketball player then it is not wasted, because the kid got an education. If the kid does notget an education or play ball then it is wasted.

I agree... wasted scholarship. It was wasted money #1 because he hardly got any education while he was here.

Coury was given an academic scholorship just as Ravi Moss was last year....
