some of my observations.......

1. Folks I watched all of our warm-ups today and Meeks, Crawford and Bradley would make ten to fifteen threes in a row. I'm tellin you it was nothing for Meeks to make fifteen in a row. Then in the game we could not get these guys free for shots.

Also, it is just plain painful to watch Jasper in warm-ups, can't make two in a row very often. I tried to see if I could catch something wrong with his form... maybe a little flying right elbow

2. Today we were the most woefully inept offense that I have seen in many a year at UK. Maybe the worst. Oh and by the way I have seen some. Been goin' since '61. We run no screens to free shooters. This is a must in todays guard oriented game.

3. Substiution patterns...I don't know where to start with this, but I do know where it ended for me today. At about the eight minute mark Morris had finally went to war and just shed every player AL sent at him three straight trips down the floor and then Tubby took him out. I could tell he was upset by this move. I mean sometimes Morris needs to come out, but not this time.

I tell you folks , I am FRUSTATED, I mean very FRUSTRATED and I am afraid it is going to get worse before it gets better.

I am not a basher, not a hater but we gotta have some real changes.

Hats off to you for following them down there- it's fans who travel and I have many, many time that make UK tradition what it is.................or was. UK fans deserve more than what they are getting.

Thanks for the report. Seeing them in person is eye-opening for sure.
Our offensive execution is terrible and has been for several years. You are right on the money- we run almost no motion to free shooters. Our guards and sf's don't move much on their own. I hate the high screen we try with our bigs (why pull them that far out from the basket?). And we tend to forget Morris is on the court for long stretches. Ye Gods.
And your comments on sub patterns are all too real. Tubby has worked a lot of magic over the years being fearless with subs. But it seems like he's tinkering for no reason some times.
