How in the world did we get to the point where we can't even get shots at the end of a close game? Are we now a mid-major program?

Jees...I mean, IT'S FREAKIN VANDERBILT!!! and we get 1 shot in our last 4 possessions (and that was desperation).

Poor recruiting helped us get here. If we do not get Patterson and Lucas, we are in trouble next year. We need help.

The worst part about all this is that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. IF (BIG IF) we had players hurt, or if we had a top 5--type recruiting class coming in next year, then I could live with some of this-- but the fact is that we don't.

Grim, grim outlook.

A few reasons:

1. No great players. Rondo was the closest thing we've had to a game breaker player and he and Tubby never saw eye to tye.

2. A Junior class that is the core of the team and cannot come through in the clutch.

3. No true PG.

Finally..there is no spirit, energy, or innovation in the program.

In fact, they look like they're just ready for the season to be over.

Pitiful.

I'm very serious, there are mid-major schools that UK would have a difficult time beating.UK just does not have the hustle, skill, athletes, and to be honest, about the only thinf UK has going for themselves now are facilities.

I am not sure if that will help at this point.

tubby has had 2 number 1 recruiting classes since he has been here. The last one just 3 yrs ago. We have a pretty damn fine freshman class here now.

We are here because of one man. The poor player development is a major reason for our not getting more out of our recruits and it's why we are now having a recruiting problem. But, the recruiting problem is a problem for the future. It is not the current problem.

We have only played 3 teams all season that had more over talent than we have. Cany anybody say we have less talent than Vandy? They beat us 4 in a row. We have more talent on the bench than they have starting.

Patterson will not play for tubby. Even if he did, he would not help. He is not as good as Morris and tubby hasn't capitalized on Morris's talents.

Look at Stephenson, he didn't even get in the game today. You think he might have been a help today? He is more athletic than anyone on Vandy's team.

We need "help" allright. We need help at the head coaching position.
