We dog Morris, Bradley, Crawford, Perry, Woo- I never hear us say anything about Jasper. He may develop, but right now he's giving us nothing on offense and he's average at best on the defensive side. This isn't a thread to bash him, but at least everyone else offers something to the table.
He's hardly visible, he won't drive to the basket and he's scared to shoot- he hardly gives us an assist. It's Jasper who should be coming off the bench.

Though I rarely ever post on your threads, I have found two areas to agree with you today. I am in total agreement! We've got to get him out of there. He's going to be good. He's got great size! But he doesn't give us anything offensively besides rebounding. He gets beat off the dribble a lot! I give him a year and he's the man but he needs a summer of ball at UK to improve the offense.
BTW, the other area of agreement was Meeks starting over Crawford. I thinkMeeks may find the seat the next game. We'll see!

Fellas Derrick is not only hurting us on the defensive end (3 fouls 10 minutes) BUT has not taken a shot in the last TWO GAMES- don't think opposing coaches don't see that and adjust. I've heard that OTS stops practice when Derrick doesn't shoot and raises holy hell with him but apparentlythat doesn't work-

Jasper is a freshman. I don't expect anything more out of him than freshman play. The only problem we have here is that Tubby hasn't recruited any other point guards, so Jasper is thrust into a situation he shouldn't be in until at least his sophomore year.
Jasper is doing fine. Give him some space.
