Crawford started out on the bench because he needs to go to class, and take care of academics. IMO this is disapointing coming from a junior this late in the year.

It's an absolute JOKE is what it is. I don't know what it is, but this junior class is jus "different" from what we're used to, I guess. They must have different ideas as to hwta it means to be players, starters, for the University of Kentucky. It's a darn shame is what it is. :thumbdownGo to class Joe

Did y'all read the Courier today? It had an interview with that new '08 signee, Draymond Green. He was talking about how amazing UK was, and how awesome it's atmosphere, facilities, and history was. When's the last time we heard that from anyone in the junior class? I heard it quite a bit from Meeks, Jasper, hell the whole freshmen class, but really, i don't think the upperclassmen get it like these younger players do. Makes no sense...

The entire junior class came in with their eye on the NBA.

With Morris it was UK or the NBA right out of high school.

Rondo had no intentions of staying more than two years and Crawford and his daddy immediately started whining about playing time.

They all thought, and still do, think they are bigger than UK basketball.

Bottom line...they came in with the attitude of being the FabFour but without the game.

Not a very coachable group.

So I guess we have no Senior, Junior or Sophmore class that are UK class and type players.

Get his attention by leaving him in Lexington.

There is no real punishment of players..... The players know this.....You know, ole Ricky P. had problems with a player earlier this year, told him to go to the house. Now, he is a valuable contributor. Tubby doesn't have the guts to do something like that....and I'm NOT a Ricky P. fan. Bradley and Crawford are the most selfish players to EVER wear the UK blue and white.

it's your fault. you're a fan and it's all the fans fault that tubby can't recruit. so it's your fault.

it certainly isn't tubbys fault. he's infallible...he's more perfect than the Pope. More powerful than a locomotive...faster than a speeding bullet....Omnipotence Prime....He's SUPERTUBBY!!!!

Nothing that happens at UK is the responsibility of Orlando....it's all the fault, blame and irresponsiblity of the fans and the players that have brought UK to it's present circumstances.....

I wrote a song about it. Wanna hear it? Here it goes...

I'm guessing that the missing classes issue means one thing. He has the NBA on his mind. If he leaves after the season too bad he will be playing over in Europe next year.

You are right, the missing class issue means one thing. Joe is a college student. I am sure that this is not a real serious issue or Joe would not have played. I know that I had my fair share of days that I did not feel like going to class and it is good that Tubby is addressing it before it does become a serious issue.

So I guess we have no Senior, Junior or Sophmore class that are UK class and type players.I think this is pretty much true. I think if Tubby were honest he would say that KY is where it is today because of a series of bad decisions and bad breaks.

The seniors were a terrible group. Back when that class was signed the thought was that it was good to sign solid guys who would be around a few years. Well, the staff did a terrible job of evaluation and we have paid for those mistakes for the past two years.

The Juniors are turning out to be very disappointing. This I am not sure can be blamed on Tubby. I think it is more of just a bad break. These guys were thought by everyone in the nation to be a top notch class. History now shows that these guys are all about the names on the back of the jersey rather than the front. I certainly think Tubby deserves some blame for their poor results, not showing any ability to change their focus and selfish desires.

The sophomores, well, what sophomores? Wasted scholarships and poor evaluations once again.

The freshmen, finally a decent class.

the 07 group looks like it very easily could end up being just like 3 of the last four.

Tubby doesn't get this recruiting class shored up and he should be gone.

I find that statement partially true, but I dont see how you can ignore Bradley's comments NEARLY EVERY TIME... he always credits the fan base and the Kentucky tradition. the junior class may not be what we are used to , but i feel it is unfair to judge Bradley when he is known for is positive comments and love for Kentucky.

The hidden meaning? No hidden meaning at all. What it all means is that UK is losing games and not in contention for anything but middle of the pack. Some UK fans won't be satisfied with that. Apparently, you are fine with it. I guess Tubby will have to sink the program to the bottom before you and those like you will want to make a move on Orlando. They guy was supposed to be working for a goal. That goal being UK in the National Championship game. Ten years of Orlando has culminated in 3rd, 4th or 5th place in the SEC.

Oh I am sure this thread was aimed at the "Tubby bashers", can't blame the coach for anything, so why not dump on Joe.

I know this is simply a rumor, but I have heard that his family incurred some trouble this week with a potential house fire. If this is true, then it certainly could attribute to some of the class time that JC has missed.
