South Alabama has now lost three in a row to end the regular season - to the likes of Florida International (RPI 247), Florida Atlantic (RPI 152) and Troy (RPI 211).

Now who thinks he's ready to be our next coach?

The San Diego Chargers finished 14-2 this NFL season, the best record in the league. They then fired Hall of Fame coach Marty Schottenheimer and replaced him with the never-was retread Norv Turner.

Lunacy.

I never have, and I still don't.

I would take him as a assistant right now. He's just not ready for the big time imo just yet, but would love to see him on UK's bench some day in any capacity.

Get rid of the Asst. Coaches and the juniors and seniors and we will be fine. Problem is, can we as a fan base wait that long?

He needs another step up in the coaching ranks before he is considered a candidate at UK.....if and when an opening occurs.

No Sophomore class, and a load of Freshmen. I see us going far with those few plays.

But Radiated, those are the parts that is bringing this team down big time. I just can't wait to start fresh.

First of all, I do agree that the senior class is not Kentucky caliber. The Junior class was regarded as the number one recruiting class in the nation. They are not what is bringing this program down. Our coach has been bringing this program down. He's done it to himself by recruiting so inconsistently.

Fire Hobbs and bring Pelphrey in as the assistant, plus send Reggie out with Hobbs. The Assistants job would be good training ground for Pelphrey, the Fla. program suffered when Pelphrey first left, maybe he could really help Tubby out. If we are going to keep the Tubster he needs to get rid of all/most of his staff.

That's how I feel too.

yes I still wanthim but only as an assistant as I have always said. Also, I don't think nor should they, make Pelphrey believe he is guaranteed the head coaching job once Tubby leaves, that could only lead to problems later.

Don't want him as a coach.

Don't want him as an assistant.

Don't want ANY "coach in training" situation.

If Tubby goes, time to clean house, and start fresh with the new guy.

Agree with phoenix. Hiring John (love him though I do) would make Alabama Football's ongoing cluster look sane.
