Jodie is without a doubt the hardest working player and the best player we have right now, works hard, good ball skills, good shot, good attitude and a good defensive player (for a freshman).

Does he go back to the bench against UGA?

If so, I'm throwing my hands up completely.

I would rather have Jodie at the end of the game if his conditioning is a question. The three seniors will start against UGA so I am not concerned about this one game. I think you will see Jodie at Gainesville.

What do you mean "back to the bench"?

Meeks has averaged as many minutes as the starters in the last 10 games. It's not like he's over there wilting away. I can't remember many times, looking back at the last month, that he was on the bench in the second half.

I dolike him as a starter, though. He's got that immediacy and tenacity, especially in the early-game, that Crawford can only dream of.

Cramps can result because of diet, dehydration, nerves, etc. Jodie has been averaging about 25 minutes. He should be healthy, he just needs to stay hydrated. I hope he starts-he deserves it.

Was the gym at Vandy extra hot yesterday? It looked it on TV, and that could definately hurt the legs with cramps. Meeks should play 40 minutes if possible. We desperately need him.

I can tell you from being there that it was very hot in the arena yesterday...

I really appreciate the effort Jodie displays. The intensity, heart, and purpose that he shows. Now, where can we get four more of him?

The odd thing about Meeks cramping up is that right before, during the timeout, he was drinking a bottle of Gatorade.

Having watched the game again, it looked like he may have been hit in the leg by a Vandy knee. Inadvertantly, of course. So I wonder if it may have been more of a 'frog' than a cramp.

The way that his foot was extending down it looked to be a very bad cramp. I used to get those a lot when I had played a lot of minutes and did not hydrate enough during the game. Seeing Jodie leave the floor yesterday reminded me of how painful they were.

He'll be ready on Wednesday night.

You cant just drink gatorade during a timeout and be hydrated. Hydration has to be built up and maintained. Diet etc...

Sorry, nutrition guy, I wan't implying that simply drinking Gatorade during a timeout would hydrate you. I'm a former athlete, I understand hydration.

I'm saying watching the game three times, that it looked like Meeks caught a knee in the calf, and it might not have been a case of dehydration.

Dang get your panties out ofa wad! I was just clarifying. No harm meant.

That name you called me "nutrition guy" man that hurts.
