LEXINGTON - Derrick Jasper said he heard it's "crazy," and Jodie Meeks isn't sure what to expect.
But the two Kentucky freshmen say they're ready to head to Florida for the first time to take on the Gators in Sunday's regular season finale.
"I expect the atmosphere to be crazy. I expect to win the game, come out and play hard," Jasper said. "The players that have already played their said it's like a big party, they're playing music and stuff, and they're really into the game.
"They're screaming and stuff, so I expect just a crazy atmosphere."
It is, senior Bobby Perry said.
"It's right on top of you, it's really packed and it's really intense down there. And then, Florida pays excellent on its home court," Perry said. "But we feel like we can go down there and compete with them, especially coming off a game like this.
"It will be great to get the win down there. We know we can compete with these guys and make a run to the Final Four."
And bouncing back to beat Georgia 82-70 after Sunday's loss at Vanderbilt was important for the Wildcats' confidence heading into the matchup with the defending national champions.
