(I have my wife's permission to tell you all this story)
The other night when UNC was playing Georgia Tech, the game was on but neither my wife nor I were paying all that much attention to it. Well, I'm in the other room and she hollers to me: "What team is the Bumblebees?" This puzzled me since I had no idea what she was talking about. I asked her to repeat herself and she said, "North Carolina is paying a school that has a bumblebee for it's mascot. They have it painted on their floor and everything." Well, it was about that time I walked back into where the tv was and saw it was Georgia Tech, and once I told her what was going on and that it was actually the Yellowjackets, we both had a good laugh about it.
Yeah, it was one of those "you had to have been there" moments but I thought you all would get a kick out of it.
