Can someone please tell me how to get my comments below the quote box?

I used to be able to get my cursor down there (although it took some finagling (sp.)), but now I can't.

Thanks!

I, too, would like to know how you wizards get your comments below the quotes.

(PS: I'm on a Mac using Firefox.)

Thanks!

i just click below the quotes and hit the"End" key. then i hit enter.

is that what you want, or does that help?

Or once you hit quote, you can use the down arrow until you are underneath the quote box and then hit return and you get a huge space than hit backspace to get the kind of space you see between the quote box and the first sentence of my reply right here.

Swimmer, if you want, please e-mailthe graphicto me here: TRexSmarts(@)wildcatnation(.)net and I'll resize it for you. You will need to decipher the e-mail. I do it this way to keep bots and spiders from stealing e-mail address and start sending me junk mail.

so, your down arrows don't work? I'm using IE of course and not firefox. With this board software new, I know just the basic controls for Firefox is implemented. The board people are planning on next installation to have more controls for FireFox in it.

The problem with Firefox as it relates to this site, is that the down arrows will not take you below the box, the way they do with IE.

The arrow takes the cursor down the last line of the quote, but that's it.

It just dawned on me when Melvin posted, that I had begun using Firefox - that's why I can't get it to work anymore.

Hopefully this will be changed in the future.

You guys do a great job. Thanks for your help!

Same thing is happening to me. Since it only occurs on Firefox (both Windows and Linux platform) I had assumed it was Firefox related. Perhaps Trex can check the forum boards for the software to see if there is a workaround on this little glitch for Firefox users??

Well, I do know that the board software makers didn't start working in FireFox control stuff into their board until version 1.60 or later. With each new upgrade version they been trying to integrate new firefox controls into their board software. The next BIG version upgrade of this board software is supposed to have a lot more firefox controls. When that next upgrade version will happen, I don't know because they haven't been good at keeping to their upgrade dates that they have set.

I was browsing the wowBB forums to see what ppl were saying about Firefox and their software. Read that there is conflict on browsers with the WYSIWYG function of the board's software. But then I tried to quote a response to the board makers and lo and behold I was able to arrow down below the quote box!! They are running v1.65 too so they must have it configured differently???

Workaround I found... put your cursor at the bottom of the quote box and then hit 'end'. When you do this your cursor will appear from the end of the quote box and then outside of it on the right-hand side. Then hit 'enter' to bring it down below the quote box. Not ideal but its something to try until a permanent solution is brought by the wowBB makers (automatically put curser below quote box).
