Halfway through the 1st half and it looks like men against boys on the glass at both ends of the floor...and we're not the men.

C'MON CATS...WAKE UP!!!

Alright...looks like they "heard" me! Let's hope they don't doze off during halftime!

Decent showing after a typical slow start.

Bama leads on the backboard 15-13 at the half--not bad considering they are the #1 rebounding team in the conference.

I agree that's not bad, but that margin wasn't anywhere near that close at my initial posting. Looks like they've finally snapped out of their game-opening funk!

I never have/ nor never will understand why people find it necessary to post during the games when so many things can change- MEN AGAINST BOYS- brilliant statement- we win boards 34-26- I'm sure our kids will accept your apology.

If you don't like in-game posts, don't read 'em.

Apparently you missed the first 10 minutes of the game...I'm not apologizing to anybody.

When you start the game shooting 3-14 from the field, you will give up a BUNCH of defensive rebounds. No surprise we were behind in the rebounding at that point but also no reason to rag on the players with those "men versus boys" comments. Those "boys" ended up thumping the SEC's #1 rebounding team by 34-26.

AT THE TIME I POSTED (and I wasn't even close to being the only in-game poster) we were flat getting abused on the boards, PERIOD. If nobody else saw it that way there's nothing I can do about it.

Jeez...

Don't get your bowels in an uproar- I didn't read the post until AFTER the game was over and yes I saw the first 10 minutes of the game and that's why I don't understand your critical post when they out rebounded Alabama and you're referring to our kids as boys- whatever.

That's why posting stuff like this early in the game just opens yourself up for criticism later. Why not wait and critique the game at the end instead of in the beginning, then there would be no need to apologize or not according to you. Maybe that's just me I guess... And, indeed, you were not the only poster saying negative things early. Just wish we were all a bit more patient with the team, and with each other... again maybe that's just me...

No "bowels in an uproar" here, but I'm curious; did you feel the need to weigh in and flame onthe other dozen-or-so in-game posts, or was I the only lucky one?

They looked like they had no idea what was going on the first 9 or 10 minutes of the game (as the 10-point deficit would indicate), especially on the boards. That's what prompted my post, period, again.

"Men against boys" is an age-old figure of speech, and I'd be surprised if you didn't already know that. Seems to me you're just trying to start an argument, but I ain't biting. Have a nice day.

Wow. Some people are sensative here. Teh p[ost was originally made during the game and to be honest we were playing like boys and shotting like 5 year olds. Some of you act like men against boys is a horrible thing to say. Lighten up. Who cares. Sorry about all the whiny kids around here buck naked. They seem to be on edge.

Our rebounding effort was best illustrated by Jodie ripping the ball out of Gee's hands underneath Bama's goal about midway throu the second half. We wanted the ball more than they did.

What makes you the authority on being a REAL fan. I am sick of people trying to say others aren't true fans just because they show their emotions in different ways. Did you ever consider the fact that some of us REAL fans get extrememly worked up during games and coming on here and making post can relieve some frustration and anxiety.
