guessing he went out because he had 2 tournovers

Because he played very poorly, and we should be way more worried about winning this game than developing a freshman right now?
Stevenson's great ability to block shots does not--and should not--make up for his long list of faults, which pretty much include every ability of his but blocking shots. He's a good kid, has lots of potential, and will likely be a good player...in time. For now, he's got a lot to work on and shouldn't be getting anywhere near the minutes the ZOMG HE BLOCKS SOOO MANY SHOTS folks think he should get.

That pass from Morris was at his ankles. Not Stevenson's fault.
He's hustling. I'll take it. I like Morris and Stevenson on the court together personally.
I love his hustle and determination, but he was a turnover liability. I loved his block though. Fantastic.

Iam just going by what the announcers said..they said UK has 2 turnovers and Stevenson was involved in both of them......but I like the kid too..I would love to see him in there more with Morris

Kids don't develop their talent in the conference tourney with a potential seed spot on the line. Stevenson had a nice block right away after getting in, but here is the sequence that dooms him, Davidson inside, basket, don't know who had him, then Stevenson, can't handle a low pass, turnover, Davidson, one on one against Stevenson, easy basket, go back down the floor, Stevenson, bad pass, intercepted by Bama, breakaway, Jasper has to burn foul to kill layup. Jasper out, 2 fouls, Stevenson out, due to high cost of time on court. Tubby couldn't wait to see what might go on next. Sorry.
I agree, take him out.

One has to wonder if his hands just simply repel basketballs. This would account for his shotblocking ability and his inability to catch a pass.
I do like his attitude and hustle though.

I like his hands, his flexibility may be in question and I wonder if he is acting before catching on some of the balls.

He played two minutes and shows that he doesn't have the weight to play YET- I'm so excited by his POTENTIAL but I don't understand why he wasn't redshirted. He is so easily knocked off the block by just a nudge.

He should have been playing more this entire season and maybe he wouldn't be such a liability:shrug:

I really like PS, but I have felt that he has been a liability AT TIMES this year. I think he has seen some nice playing time, but I would have loved to have seen him in a few more games. It is really tough playing in the road in these games as a freshman I am sure. This school is a pressure cooker, and I have felt like he was a bit timid due to the environment... That is just one man's opinion.

He played 10 minutes according to espn.com. If I remember correctly Ky won the game.

Stevenson is still a work in progress. The day will come when he'll be a terror on the court, but for now, his inexperience is still a liability. This was his first SEC tournament at the Georgia Dome. UK won and he got some valuable experience.
He'll be fine. One thing at a time.

Playing time cant make him any tougher than being in practice where you can foul without costing the team something big. I.E. I am sure the juniors and seniors have knocked him around more in practice than he ever will be in a game.
That all said, he can play when needed and with Jared down he is needed this year thus no redshirt. Next year, he will have some more meat on the bones and a better grip on the speed of the game. From my limited perspective thats all I see wrong with him.
