Jodie Meeks......AWESOME

He did a bunch of good stuff in the second half. Very nice all around game and his recognition of who is where on the court is getting better and better.

I think that we have found our "backup" point guard. Jodie is very comfortable handling the ball out front.

He is good now, and is on his way to being great. He could be the complete package, or as close to any player we have had in a long time.

Too, as I watched the game, I kept saying, "I LOVE Jodie Meeks." Yes, I love all the Cats, but this young man is indeed AWESOME. Too, yes, Tubby has repeatedly asked the playersto PUSH THE BALL down the floor. Yes, Jodie does that, along with a lot of other good things! Did I say that I LOVE Jodie Meeks? :D

Further, as I watched Jodie and the other returning Cats, I kept thinking how this team would look next season with the addition of Jai Lucas and Patrick Patterson. Anyone's looking at that possibility and not thinking that we have a BRIGHT future isbeyond me.

Worrying about who is coaching Jodie and these other Cats next year should not be the worry, as I see it. It's simply getting some of these guys to JOIN Jodie and the other Cats for next season. Honestly, I LOVE thinking about that possibility.

May it happen, AND may these Cats keep playing as they have played today. THIS season is NOT over by any means. NEVER GIVE UP. :)GO CATS!

I love Meeks enthusiasm, his nose for the ball, and his fearlessness. I am confident that, by the time he leaves UK, he will be one of my all time favorites. He is fun to watch.

Jodie is awesome. He reminds me of Bogans because they seemed to have great poise, played ferless, very good d ...............Meeks is quick and Wayne Turner is another player that could fly coast to coast.

Jodie is awesome. That really looks good for us in the guard spots next year too. I think Jodie is good enough to start next year, but I'm not so sure that he will. I think the only way he starts next year is if we go with a four guard lineup, or if Tubby decides to bench Jasper and moves Ramel back to the point. I pesonally think it would be a great idea to bench Jasper in favor of starting Jodie. Then again, Jodie might have to be our sixth man next year,(and what a heck of a sixth man he would be!!!), and just wait until the next year to get the starting job that he will definitely deserve. I love Jodie, but I just don't see Tubby starting him over Ramel or Joe. I do think he deserves to start over Jasper though.
