Time to see what our new conditioning coach has wrought. KY is going to have to have a lot of heart tomorrow, and if they can clear that hurdle, everybody is somewhat wrung out. Tubby ate the good part of our bench today, and Bradley had a lot of minutes. Hope we have some gas in the tank.

Kids this age should never be worn out from playing basketball. They should be okay tomorrow.

Like the old saying goes, "if you can't get up for an SEC tournament game, you just need to go home".

It's not their legs that worry me, it's their eyes.... they really shot well today and I want to see that continue. Good shooting will cure a multitude of woes.

All four of our games would be at 1:00 p.m. and IMO that is much more favorable than playing the late game one day and the early game the next. We will have almost a full 24 hours between games which is the best possible schedule.

Should be interesting to see, but I think we will be fine. Frankly I think we have another good "COMPLETE" game tomorrow. We have had a chance to shake the nerves off (which showed the first 8 mins. today) and we did. Miss St will have to go through the same thing tommorrow and we will be hitting our stride.

I do wish Tubby would have pulled some of the guys a little earlier today, but still we will be ok.

GO BIG BLUE!!!!

I think it will be fine. The only two that I really worry about would be Crawford or Bradley. Bradley, however, will probably never run out of gas. He always seems to have a little bit more.

It's not tomorrow's game that worries me, it's Saturdays. It's usually the third day in a row where players get gassed. Tubby needs to use more bench when he can.

I learned something new Tuesday night.

Maybe everyone already is aware of this but it is new to me and certainly was not used when I played.

They now immerse players' legs in a 50 degree whirlpool. It is supposed to help them recover much faster. It is done immediately after the game.

I don't know how long they stay in but...I guess it works.

50 degree water is cooooold.

I think we'll be fine tomorrow in terms of our legs. But by Saturday or Sunday we could be dragging.

I went through similar things tocure and preventshin splints in college. We called it an ice bath. We used a whirlpool but didnt use the jets. It was very cold, the trainers would put tons of ice in it, and we would do it for about 15 to 20 minutes. It cures any leg pains that you may have, shin splints are awful and very common. It was very painful until your legs numbed up, but afterwards your legs were very refreshed.

Bradley is a very hyper person, he will be fine.

I am not worried about him as much as I am worried about his shot.

I, too, though, wish that Ramel could have played fewer minutes yesterday (and my concern for him is especially HOW HARD he played during those minutes), and Crawford's 32 minutes are more than I would have wished. A potential Saturday or Sunday game would be the focus of most ofmy concern. However, I certainly saw West Virginia's t lose their outside shots in the overtimes yesterday, after their having played the previous day. So I do understand the concern. GO CATS!

How I wish some of us had been wrong in our concern about those players' minutes. Ramel, specifically, had PLAYED HIS HEART out against Alabama. I really believe that his 37 minutes of playaffected his play yesterday, especially because he had expended himself so on the defensive end. Mr. Poodoo and I noticed how his shots were short yesterday, which usually means that a player does not have his legs. While I don't know that was the problem, I surely suspect that it was.

Asa positive, UK will no longer have any games on back-to-back days. Now let's do hope that they have some more back-to-back games, of course! :DGO CATS!
