View Full Version : Thank You Fox 7
First, instead of showing the Kentucky game a few weeks back they showed Nascar. Now, instead of showing the SEC tournament, they're showing American Idol, followed by the SEC tournament in progress.
I'm disappointed in Fox 7.

I guess it is different inmadisonville, but both inLexington and Paducah LF sports is shown through the CBS affiliate. That's interesting, I thought it was the case everywhere.

I streamed the game online from yahoo, there's a link somewhere from this morning where I was able to access the game from work. It was like www.yahoo/sports (http://www.yahoo/sports) then onto men's basketball.
We had the same problem at the beginning of the season because of satellite, we didn't subscribe to that channel sono games, talk about being a little miffed.
I hope this helps.

Uh, the Lexington station is showing Survivor. Of course those lucky enough to get WKYT sister station, the UPN 62 or something like that, you can see all the tourney there.

It is a banner day when UK wins one and both Duke and UCLA lose one.....

We got to see the Cats play on channel 7 today and they have the game tomorrow
on the schedule live too.
So I can understand them delaying or not showing other teams as long
as our Cats get shown live.

I'm pretty sure Evansville has a pretty loyal UK fan base. But either way, Fox 7 has always been very consistent with their Kentucky broadcasts and SEC Tourney broadcasts until this season and today.

Hey WCN boys and girls. Those of you who have trouble getting the CATS for either FB or BB in your area....perhaps the best deal is DirecTV and may include the Fox Sport Network as one of the package of channels. I start it in Sept and keep it through March and I get most all the FB games (either live or delayed) and I have gotten all but one or two of the BB games live. This package costs just $10/month if you have one or more of the movie channel groups (HBO, STARZ, etc). There is about 40 channels or so and it includes many other channels than the Fox Sports channels such as Speed, Golf, Thoroughbred Racing, Madison Sq. Garden, ESPNU, etc. Of course, during the NCAA everything is on the CBS channels and for $65.00 you can get all 4 CBS channels at the same time so that you will be sure to get the CATS no matter where or when they are playing. What I do here is go to a sports bar that has the package and we sit there and watch all 4 channels at the same time. That's what makes this the greatest 2-3 weeks of the year for BB. Good Luck

I grew up just outsideOwensboro and had to deal with those "Indiana" stations all the time. They don't think twice about pushing the UK game to tape delayed status.
