Can I just say one thing about the lastest Petrino Job rumor?

The Cardinal fans deserve a lot better than this soap opera that has become "Will Bobby stay, or Will he go?" every single year. I realize a lot of it is nothing more than a bunch of sportswriters thinking out loud and throwing names out just to make a deadline, but aloong with that, I don't see why Petrino's agent just doesn't quietly make it known within the coaching fraternity that his client isn't interested in leaving U of L and that his name should not be used in publiclydiscussing coaching vacancies.

Loyalties aside, you guys deserve a lot better treatment than that, especially with the support you give your football team.

Looks like the football and basketball coaches have more in common than similar names. They sure like to flirt with everyone. I grew so tired of that when Ricky was at UK.

I have no problem with him interviewing with other teams. My problem with him is his lying about it. You want to do it, do it, just haves the jewels to admit it.

Does it matter if it's a pro or college team?

I mean, if UL is at the level that many proclaim it to be, it shouldn't be a stepping stone to bigger & better things as it has been for the last few years. If UL is going to be a top 10 - 15 team, there has to be some consistency at the top.
