What would your reaction be if Petrino bolts for Oakland two days before national signing day? Just curious.

The more he denies it, the more I believe he's going.

I, like a lot of Card fans are still very much pissed at CBP, and have not forgot. He has $hit for brains when it comes to job searches and press conferences... Do I want himas our coach? yes do we want him to show more loyalty to ourprogram? yes. Do we trust him.....not yet.

If Petrino bolts two days before national signing day he has no class. I think you are beating a really dead horse though, he ain't goin. Next year his marketability takes a big jump with the team we have coming back. We should be top ten next season. I look for him to either jump next season, or decide he wants to be UL's coach for 5 to 7 years.

Man, here we go again... Last year you went from National Champions knocking off USC to... what were you ranked at the end of the season?...I don't recall... oh, and you literally got stomped inyour empty bowl game. Give it a break you are starting to sound a UK football fan.... yeah we should be really good next year...lol.

Gee, sorry to hurt your feelings. Jealousy is such a petty character flaw.

A #20 ranking was a bit below hopes, but not bad for having a freshman at QB. Leading a game for three quarters and losing by ten at the end is hardly a "blowout", but I am sure you realize that.

Don't worry, I think UK will be improved also. I can see maybe 4 or 5 wins for you guys next season if you do not end up with any key injuries.

If Petrinochio left and was replaced by an honorable man with some class...my contempt for UL football would drop like a stone.

I don't begrudge you guys for what success you've had, it's just that I can't stand Petrino and hate to see jerks like him lie and cheat their way to success.

Thanks for the confidence in our improvement next year. I agree we will be improved, how much, time will tell.

Seriously, do you really think Braum would have made enough difference in your bowl game for UL to win? I think not. Your freshman QB showed toughness, and the offense could not have played any better. IMO

Do I think Brohm would have made an impact? Of course, Brohm is a 68% completion guy. Cantwell is about a 50% QB. Would we have won the game with Brohm? Maybe, but in all honesty, probably not. I think VT would have still pulled out a 3-7 point win.

I expect improvement from Brohm next season, but the biggest difference I expect to see is in the defense. We were a little thin and young defensively this season. Next season we should be improved and deeper on that side of the ball.

Offensively, we get our short yardage back eligible, the bowling ball, Brock Bolen. With him at FB and Bush at TB, expect to see the UL power running game a lot more next season. We lose a lot of Offensive Linemen, but their replacements are evn bigger than our graduating seniors. Bolen ( 247) and Bush (240) running behind a line that will average about 318 is going to flat out wear some people down. Our receivers will be huge targets with a lot of extra speed.

I expect the Cardinal Express to continue its route to a national title. We have been going in the right direction for 20 years and have another level we need to get to yet. Next season, we just may be a legitimate top 5 team depending on the O line. If they gel like I hope, the following season could be the big one.
