"Louisville is the school for me," Caracter told Scout.com. "Pitino can coach ball and I think he'll keep pushing me and make me a well-rounded person."
Caracter, who averaged 15 points and 11 boards as a junior, picked the Cardinals over Memphis, his other finalist. Citing a strong relationship with Cardinals assistant Steve Masiello, Caracter began thinking heavy about the Cardinals following ABCD Camp. With Caracter, guard Edgar Sosa (No. 57) and shooting guard Jerry Smith (No. 68), Louisville is poised to have yet another outstanding recruiting class.
