Just curious. Is it kosher to recruit fans to wildcatnation.net? I've really enjoyed being a season ticket holder for UK Hoops and wish there was more activity and interaction in this forum. I'm certainly aware that the number of fans for women's basketball is considerably less than for men (I'm a huge fan of both) but with the building process DeMoss is doing I expect interest to grow over the next few years. Mu question ia has there ever been a thought to distributing a cheap flier at a women's game to invite those fans who may be unaware that there's a place in cyberspace to commiserate together to pay us a visit?

The answer to your question is yes you can recruit members for WCN. You possibly can do a cheap flier but I do know that the best way is by either handing out business cards that you print out, word of mouth, or by wearing merchandise bought from WCN Shop that has our address on it and etc. To be honest, never thought about fliers but it's basically the same thing as business cards. We encourage all members to recruit new memeber either their friends or if they know a group of fans they meet up with daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. I been using my profile on Myspace, facebook, and a few others to promote WCN. The only think we ask is to look over the NCAA Guidelines to understand what's good or what's bad to do. You might find yourself in certain situations that could warrant UK getting in trouble by the NCAA. So, be very careful.

Check back tomorrow and there should be a link here where you can download a file for business cards that we are currently using. Then if you want to print up some WCN Business cards to hand out, then that would be awesome and helpful for us.

Thanks, TRex. I will try to get some printed out. Tomorrow's game with expected record crowd will be perfect opportunity to get the word out.

Dan is supposed to email me the file tonight when he gets home from work and I'll put it up for you and PM you, email you, and leave a url to the file here for you. That way you get it for sure. Just gotta hope you have the same software. It's either going to be in MS Word or Publisher. I will know more when I get the file.
